Before you start
- Workspace access and permission to manage each selected review.
- From 1 to 50 reviews in the same workspace, with an available stage, and the person’s correct email.
Quick task overview
Start with these steps. If the task has more steps, they appear right below.
- Step 1
In the Reviews list or a project’s reviews, select 1 to 50 reviews from the same workspace.
- Step 2
Click Add reviewers to open Add reviewers in bulk.
- Step 3
Under Person (email), choose a workspace member or enter an email. Each operation adds one person.
Step by step
- 4Choose Client approver, Internal approver or Commenter as the role.
- 5Select a stage for each review. To reuse a position, use Apply stage position to all and check the names: stages in the same position can differ.
- 6Click Add to reviews and check each result. If the person already participates in the selected stage, including through a group, their current role and preferences stay unchanged.
- 7If any additions fail, check the reason and use Retry pending reviews. Completed reviews are not resubmitted. To add another person, close the dialog and start a new operation.
What should happen
The person participates in the chosen stages of eligible reviews. No one is removed, and existing stage participants are neither duplicated nor assigned a different role.
Common problems
- Action unavailable or no permission: check workspace access and permission to manage each review. Split selections larger than 50 reviews.
- Locked, approved, rejected or archived review, or closed stage: choose available reviews and stages. A missing stage must be selected individually.
- Internal approver requires a workspace member. External guests cannot join internal stages and need the review to allow users and guests.
- Already participating: the assignment stays unchanged even if you selected another role. To change an existing role, edit participation in that stage.
- New invitations and notifications follow each stage’s settings. Optional manual stages wait for activation; adding the person does not confirm email delivery.
