What a client sees when opening a review
Understand the external experience and validate access without using customer data.
Reviewed on July 15, 2026
Before you start
- A demo review with no private content.
Step by step
- 1The client follows the invitation link and lands on the shared review.
- 2They only see files, versions, stages, and comments allowed by their access.
- 3Comment and decision actions appear according to the assigned role.
- 4Internal versions remain hidden until released.
- 5Aproova does not have a “View as client” button. Test only with a review created in the demo workspace.
What should happen
You know which areas are external and do not promise a simulation that does not exist.
Common problems
- Never test with real customer files, names, emails, or comments.
- A client does not receive workspace admin access.
- If an internal version appears, review its release state and the person's role before sharing.
