How to troubleshoot uploads

Find out why a file did not upload or process and finish safely.

Before you start

  • Permission to upload files.
  • The local file available.

Step by step

  1. 1Check whether the format is listed as supported.
  2. 2Check file size and connection using the displayed message.
  3. 3Retry without closing the page during upload.
  4. 4If it persists, rename the file without unusual characters and try another connection.
  5. 5Confirm the preview and current version before sharing.
  6. 6When contacting support, send the safe code and file type, never private content.

What should happen

The upload finishes, the file is processed, and the correct version appears.

If something doesn't work

  • Export unsupported formats to a listed option.
  • Retry on a stable network.
  • Wait for processing before creating another review.
  • Do not invite reviewers before confirming the preview.
